It encompasses:
Neurology - The mind and how we think
Linguistics – How we use language and how it affects us
Programming – How we sequence our actions to achieve our goals.
In other words, NLP shows you how to use the language of the mind to consistently achieve your specific and desired outcomes.
Take an example of someone who hates spiders: At some point in their life they have experienced an event that has caused their brain to go into overdrive whenever they see a spider. Something has caused them to become phobic about spiders. The spider is represented internally (in their mind) in a certain way that causes anxiety and extreme stress whenever they see one.
By using NLP techniques we can simply re-program the mind's representation of the spider and so cure the phobia and release the individual from the torment that they are in.
But it's not just phobias that NLP is useful for. Today NLP is widely used across many facets of life. In:
Business Management:
Organisational development:
Sales and Marketing:
Personal counselling:

Education:
Family counselling:

NLP has uses throughout our life and is definitely suited to helping both individuals and organizations.
Understanding Language Patterns, how data is recorded and represented in our minds, how we communicate with ourselves and others - all play a role in our success both as individuals and companies. People make up companies. People have issues not just with “spiders” but with stress, making cold calls, handling conflict and so on.
However, how many courses, products or services instruct on these key, essential elements of internal and external communication? How do you incorporate these tried and tested techniques into your man management and coaching / leadership skills?
Inner Navigator tackles these issues head on giving you access to the “missing link” that will put you and your organization ahead the game.
